Planting size: 6400 vines/ ha

Vinification: meticulous hand-sorting of grapes first in the vineyard and then in the winery. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted by native yeasts. After about 10 days of fermentation and 20 days of maceration by submerging the entirety of the pomace, it is racked and gently pressed. After blending, it remains on the lees with periodic agitation (batonnage), remaining in tanks for more than a year before bottling. Unfiltered

Organoleptic examination: bright and clear ruby red color. Intense bouquet with clear notes of ripe red fruits and spicy notes. Full and round, savory, persistent and at the same time soft, with ripe and warm tannins.

Pairings: with all major traditional Tuscan dishes, red meats and game. Mature or medium-aged savory cheeses.
