Our villa

This 'corner of Tuscany between Florence and Arezzo, with its soft, bright hills, is a place of the soul. Here time flows slower, flavors are more intense, smells more fragrant.

Tenuta Canto alla Moraia, at the gates of the ancient village of Castiglion Fibocchi, opens the gates to a paradise where history, nature and art come together, where you can spend unforgettable moments.

An 'understated elegance and old-world charm will welcome you to the historic mansions and adjoining apartments that guarantee our guests quiet and intimacy.

The villa derives from an imposing Renaissance tower placed to control Valdarno along the ancient Via Cassia. Later the tower was "decussed," that is, lowered, and with the resulting stones the surrounding buildings were constructed. A few years ago the structure underwent a masterful restoration that created a charming and comfortable historic home, a witness to the most authentic Tuscan taste.

Inside the structure, every room will prove to be a source of wonder and discovery. Traditional Tuscan furniture skillfully placed side by side with contemporary design works, sculptures and paintings by artists from all over the world will welcome you in every room, among the warm tones of centuries-old sandstone, the purity of precious Sienese travertine and strength of the chestnut wood of the beams. Every detail, every line, every object, will tell you a story of passion and beauty and make you live a beautiful fairy tale.

divided into 5 rooms and shares with 3 independent apartments the swimming pool and the magnificent park populated by modern sculptures.

 Location and what to see

Canto alla Moraia is located between Florence and Arezzo and near Siena, in the center of one of Tuscany's richest areas of history. Near the estate you will find the bridge over the Arno River and the landscape of badlands that so fascinated Leonardo that he chose it as the backdrop for the Mona Lisa and the Virgin of the Rocks. You will find the "Adam's Stone" that Michelangelo reproduced in the Sistine Chapel and the largest altarpiece painted by Vasari, and then centuries-old forests, thousand-year-old churches and romantic country parish churches.

Also in the area is the splendid Art Nouveau villa where Benigni set some scenes of "Life is Beautiful." And Prada outlets and The Mall (that's art, too!).

A year's vacation would not be enough to visit everything there is to visit near Canto Alla Moraia!
